Alicante region is know for its many wedding venues and honeymoon locations. The area is suitable for a beach wedding if you like that. Keep in mind that in July and August the beaches can get very hot and busy. In addition make sure you have good make up and a suitable wedding dress.
Beach wedding in Alicante
To get married on a beach in Spain you need to have a license from the town hall. You can try and arrange this yourself when you start wedding planning. Having a translator helps, but a wedding planner knows exactly which people to contact as they have the experience. Wedding ceremonies on a beach seem super romantic. Despite breathtaking views of the Mediterranean sea many couples do not find it very private. Sunbathers will always be near by and your wedding photos will have them in the background unfortunately. Still, there are ways of having an outdoor wedding in Spain.
Moraira Castle wedding
Right on the costa of Moraira there is a little castle and around the castle there is tiled pavement. From this tiled terrace you will have panoramic views of the ocean without having sun bathers nearby. The beach is actually about a 4-5 mins walk. Therefore you have the advantage of the cooler sea breeze. The wedding officiant normally makes sure tourist keep a respectful distance from your wedding.
Ultimately you can have a carpet rolled out where you walk down the aisle. The wedding guests sit on folding chairs either side of the aisle. You and all your guests could even have a mini wedding reception. Have a drink of champagne after you say i do and tie the knot. It is a very picturesque location and perfect for a beautiful wedding. This spot will also require a license from Moraira townhall. This could be part of your wedding package and wedding planners can apply for the license.

No matter what you are planning: a beach wedding or an outdoor one. Alicante and its neighbouring cities can provide you with the most romantic wedding destinations to say your vows. Similarly choose Alicante, Santa Pola, Villajoyosa, Altea or San Juan area to have a dream wedding. Why? Because the Costa Blanca is the home of best wedding venues along the Spanish east coast.
Undoubtedly with such striking views and exotic wedding locations like a castle or a finca, wedding photography would be amazing. Along with a vineyard which Spain has many of.
