Stine and Lee, a couple from Norway, orignally had their wedding planned for the 23rd of April, but as some of you may remember, that was the time when the Icelandic volcano was messing up all our travel plans and many flights all over Europe were cancelled and planes were grounded (http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/8623806.stm). The poor girl trying to plan this wedding had her work cut out for her, it was a logistical little nightmare: hotel bookings had to be changed, photographer, priest, venue, car rentals, villa rentals, appartment rentals, florist and any other service you could think of had to be able to change to the new date in May 2010. In the end we (the services) all made it but unfortunately many guests couldn’t change their holiday plans at the office so they came out a couple of days before the 23rd of April, had a week in the sun and returned home.

Helge Pettersson from the Norwegian Church in Torrevieja (http://www.sjomannskirken.no/torrevieja/  conducted the ceremony.

Stine, Lee and all their friends and family had a great time at Rebate on the day and had a great time in Spain during the days after the wedding.

The wedding of Tracey and Donal took place in the beautiful El Salvador church of Nerja and hotel Vinuela. This hotel is situated in the green natural areas of Andalucia. The Nerja church is a pretty busy church so the priest walks you through the sermon at a high pace. Didn’t seem to bother anybody and it didn’t have any effect on the way the service was perceived.
Hello

Hello

This wedding was in May 2010, normally a good time of year here on the Costa Blanca: not too hot, not too cold. That is exactly what Kristin and Tobias thought. But for some reason the weather gods were not too happy on the day and the rain was coming down from heaven as if there was no tomorrow (they should know better!). So after waiting about 20 mins for the rain to stop, they decided to move the wedding ceremony from the outdoor location in Torrevieja to the Swedish church. A little less charming than a ceremony in the open air with sea views but pleased to say very dry! Nothing to stand in their way now. Little Oliver (their son) had a temperature and wasn’t feeling too happy, poor little soul but he did very well considering the situation. The day after we went onto the beach to take some family shots and Oliver was in great form.

This couple were great to work with, thanks guys!

  • Denise - Hi,

We are planning our wedding for next year 27th October 2018. We want to have it in Spain and came across the option of having the wedding on Tabarca Island.

Can you tell us what is included in this for say 100 people to see if it fits in with our budget rather than a beach wedding on the mainland?

    Thanks
